heaps of news in short: AGENTS OF ABHORRENCE "EARTH WATER SUN" is out now on 625 records in the USA, and Numerical Thief / Stomp here in Australia. you can order it online either here, or at www.stomp.com.au it is blisteringly fast grindcore clocking in at under ten minutes. mayhem.
also, new BLARKE BAYER / BLACK WIDOW COLLAB CD "PRESENTS: I.B." is out now on Numerical Thief. 3 beautiful drowning and ambient pieces that follow on from their first collaborative effort on the Heathen Skulls label. this time the duo soak themselves in battered objects, dull drones, sparse guitar and percussive sounds that is reminecent of the Dirty Three and Tom Carter. a must for fans of analog and minimal free improvisation.
and Finally, MY DISCO have recorded, mastered and finished artwork for the sophmore LP, entitled "PARADISE." Recorded in Chicago, Illinois and engineered by Steve Albini at Electrical Audio, this is ten songs of minimal, stark repition that never gives in to release. tense tense tense! release is scheduled for late Febuary through NT / Stomp records on both CD and LP deluxe formats. cool.
